After landing at the destination airport, the pilot was taxiing to the parking area. He stated that as he approached the parking spot, he taxied too close to the airport parameter fence, and the left wing contacted the fence resulting in substantial damage to left wing and aileron. The pilot stated that there were no preimpact mechanical malfunctions or failures of the airplane that would have precluded normal operation.
