On September 13, 2016, about 1600 UTC, a Cessna turbo P210N, N210BC, owned and operated by a private individual lost engine power in cruise flight and impacted on a road near Guatemala City, Guatemala. The pilot on board was not injured. The airplane sustained substantial damage. Day visual meteorological conditions prevailed for the personal cross-country flight that was en route to Roatan Island, Honduras.This investigation is under the jurisdiction of the government of Guatemala.
